Anton started beekeeping in 2008 — until a severe allergy to bee venom changed everything. Instead of giving up bees, I started looking for a suit that would truly protect against stings. After countless attempts I developed exactly what I was looking for, and today three-layer breathable suits make up more than 90% of our protective equipment range. We refine every batch together with the beekeepers who wear them.
Our journey
2008
In 2008 I started with just a few hives, and my love for bees quickly grew into 40 strong colonies. The goal was clear – dedicated, relaxed beekeeping.
Turning point
At the height of my momentum, an extremely severe allergy to bee venom stopped me in my tracks. The reactions were life-threatening. Doctors forbade me from contact with bees, which could have meant the end of my journey.
The search
I decided not to give up on my bees. Since there was no suit in Slovenia that guaranteed 100% protection against stings, and cheap imports were a total disappointment, I took matters into my own hands.
Today
With the right partner, we developed a three-layer (3S) breathable suit that acts like a fan on hot days while offering complete protection. Today, that same innovation, born of necessity, protects more than 9,000 customers across the EU.
